The ESU hot work tool steel ES Primus SL from Eschmann Stahl convinces among other things with excellent polishing properties, high toughness and homogeneous microstructure.

In combination with the innovative plasma process MOLDADUR® from voestalpine eifeler coating GmbH, perfect protective coatings against wear and surface damage are created. Areas of application are polished or textured surfaces for plastic molding tools. MOLDADUR® improves the high-gloss performance and – the highlight – microtexturing can be excellently applied to surfaces already provided with MOLDADUR® by 5-axis laser processing by Eschmann Textures International GmbH.

The contact surface remains hard.
